Our definition
When regirail marks a result as verified, it means the information was checked against the official source at a specific time. Every verified result shows:
- The source — the name of the official register or authority, with a link
- The check date — when we queried it
- A confidence note — how directly the answer reflects the source (for example, a live register response versus a summary of published rules)
What it doesn't mean
Verified is not a guarantee. Official sources can be incomplete, delayed or temporarily unavailable, and information can change after we check it. A verified result is a dated record of what the source said — not legal, tax or financial advice.
What you should do
For important decisions, open the linked source and confirm the result yourself. That is exactly why we always give you the link.
